Partnering with SALT, empowering young voices
Our focus is on helping young people feel confident in themselves and their communication. By creating safe, supportive spaces, we encourage self-expression, reduce anxiety, and build the social skills they need to thrive. While therapy supports their clinical needs, Vocal Voyage helps them feel ready to engage—and strong enough to keep going. We celebrate progress in all its forms, no matter how small. Because when a young person feels confident, their voice becomes stronger in every part of life.
We provide non-therapeutic support—like mentoring, youth clubs, and confidence-building—while young people wait and alongside therapy. It's designed to complement SALT, not replace it.

Empowering Young People
At Vocal Voyage, we work directly with young people aged 11–24 through one-to-one mentoring and youth groups tailored to their individual needs. Every young person creates a personal action plan, helping them build confidence, connect with others, and feel proud of who they are.

Partnership Working
Vocal Voyage works alongside speech and language therapy—supporting young people both while they wait and during sessions. As SALT teaches techniques to manage speech and language, we provide safe spaces to put those techniques into practice.
Through mentoring and youth groups, we reduce isolation, improve mental health, boost confidence, and build social skills—helping young people feel heard, accepted, and empowered.
